In the 90’s, I had a dog named Wrecks. His boundless energy and curiosity led him to eat seatbelts, makeup, shoes, the siding in our house and overturn countless chairs and coffee tables. I think of Wrecks when I see the way #Trump and #Musk and the #GOP have treated our democracy and our economy.
