I just voted. Took me about five minutes total. Several checks and balances to confirm my ID. Six people on the ballot with a wide range of political views and diversity. We will learn tonight who wins the election in Canada. And we will all accept the results. That’s what democracy looks like.

Why Colorado’s artificial intelligence law is a big deal for the whole country
Nearly a year after it passed, it’s still the only one of its kind, so far. But as revisions are still planned, could Colorado’s law become a model to emulate — or avoid?

Super interesting fly on the wall insight. The thing is, every business talks like this. It’s just that when it really works and you do become meta, it spills over into something harsh and anti-competitive. But find me a tech entrepreneur who doesn’t aim to crush their space.

I cannot get my head around people not checking if a case is real before submitting it to the court. It’s the weirdest practice management approach.

I spoke at an Ontario Bar Association conference today on AI in the workplace. Still a huge range of comfort around lawyers using AI, with a few still rejecting it outright. As they say, AI will not replace lawyers. But lawyers who use AI will. #AI #LegalTech #HRlaw

another example of the law trying to catch up with the rapid speed of tech developments. Is using AI as your representative the unauthorized practice of law?
