It’s such a great dynamic when written well. I can see why shippers slash them because they have an intimate bond for two cishet men. I prefer them as friends but I’m not here to yuck anyone’s yum!

They love and protect her so much. Like two parents. I love how Exiles flipped this, here Wolverine is like “she’s ready for war!” While with Nocturne he’s like “she’s must be protected from public high school!”

Gail, as an update to this 5 month old post, I’ve got one children’s book written and illustrated and am 3/4 through my novel!! Thanks so much for your advice and support. Now I gotta figure out where to go from here!

Ugh I keep thinking of more good Kurt/Logan moments. Giant Sized X-men First Class has them fucking with Scott lol, the trip they take with Piotr (can’t remember issues, around Utopia era), them beating Piotr up for Kitty.

Ok but my wish for Doomsday? One single moment with Kurt and Logan. Drunk and singing in a bar. Tell me Hugh and Alan aren’t game.

An aside, Kurt was the first of the X-men to learn Logan’s name. And Logan was the first to hone in on Kurt’s faith. They’re both outsiders in their own way, the “man who is a monster” and the “monster who is a man”. Logan values that Kurt sees him for more than an animal and vice versa

Kurt and Logan have been best friends in the comics since the 80s. It’s highly common for slashers to find a platonic friendship and take it to the next step.

Is it canon? No. But some people love it!
