Yes, what’s happening is overwhelming and exhausting, but I refuse to be overwhelmed or exhausted. That’s their goal. That’s how they demoralize people and convince them there’s nothing they can do. Don’t believe it.

Ever notice frost crystals up close? Like tiny fractal flowers growing up out of the imperfections in a leaf where water vapor settled and “bloomed.” Nature shows her beauty in so many ways if we just pay attention.

Apathy is not neutral. It’s not compassionate. It’s not kind. Apathy is consent in abstentia. It’s premature capitulation. We must stay engaged, empathetic, and ready to respond with love and light.
