Found this in a folder called “Joyful Things”. I went to Hampton Court Palace in spring of 2017 and the day was gorgeous. I stood here in the sun and closed my eyes, imagining the sounds and sights it if had been 1534. I call this “mental time travel”, and it’s such a soothing thought exercise.
