Yep, exactly. At best it seemed like the spotter was always putting it where the player's knee went down rather than where the ball was in his hands when the knee touched. The illegal man downfield was really picky but KSU ended up scoring right after anyway iirc.

To me, it looked like one of the line judges constantly spotted the ball about a yard to half a yard short. I also thought the pass that received the "intentional grounding" call may have actually been backwards (and then rolled out of bounds).

I was there for 2008 (and stayed) it was incredible. I was there in spirit last night, yelling from my front room in Oregon. Funny how the fairweather fans leave and the crowd noise stays about the same. 😒 Glad you got to be there last night, what a game!

Thanks for the update. Glad to hear it about Fano, sad about the other guys. With Fano's draft stock, that was extra scary.

You know someone was there that left early both for this one and for Oregon State in 2008. 😂
But they probably got home 30 minutes quicker than they would have so there's that. 🤭

When KSU scored a TD in the 4th to go up by 12 with an extra point pending, i thought the game was over for sure. The Pick-2 on that try making it a 10 point game and getting the ball brought some life back in. My son and I were jumping and yelling at the TV the rest of the way - very exciting!

Did you see the Utah KSU game? I get that people are going to see the score and think Utah underperformed, but that was a gutty win against a KSU squad that wanted it bad and were playing out of their minds. Really good Utah win considering the situation. Both teams played their guts out.

I dont think Utah should have dropped, that was a great gutty win against a KSU team that was playing out of their minds wanting this one bad.
