Yep that’s my logic.. it’s an actual A side, rather than a remix of an a-side which would then have made it go onto the compilation. :)

Well, there is as it’s all done to click anyway but nope. Most of what you hear that’s obvious is absolutely live. The more subtle stuff, which adds a touch of spice.. or in our case thickness of sound occasionally.. which you could also likely do without, that’s where backing comes in handy.

It’s safe to assume all the distinctly noticeable percussion noises / play for today/ wind chimes etc are played each time one of the drum pads is hit. That’s been the way always :)

Backing.. along with some rhythmical metallic key bits which still survive in shows these days.. some handclaps there too..
