Also not working on something specific leaves room to just play with my #art supplies. If I leave my watercolors next to where I watch tv, I find myself picking them up and just playing with the colors and shapes in new ways.

A tiny little floral doodle. I try and find the shapes in the painting and then embellish from there.

So annoyed that I feel better at the ocean than resting at home. Is it the dopamine of being at a joyful place, the engagement of my stabilizing muscles in sand and waves, or the connection to nature? If I don’t pin this feeling like a moth, will I ever understand how to find my wellness again?

Any break from the monotony of the suburb is a relief. The sunset coming through as the storm rolled in … stunning.

My garden makes me feel so alive, makes me feel like I’m returning home to myself. Yesterday’s harvest of mesclun greens, radishes, herbs, nasturtiums, spring onions, and the tiniest snap pea you’ve ever seen.
