I'm currently working on a high fantasy novel dealing with religious trauma and loss of culture, and this is a line from the 5th chapter:

What did prayer do except give them hope for the rest of the world to snatch away?

Skipping #3 because it's very much a fanfic thing so:

4. So much inspires me to write. I write to process my world and often draw from my own emotions and experiences. Lotus in the Mountain, for example, was me dealing with my grief and guilt about my mom dying. Writing is very personal for me.

2. I prefer to write in third person limited past tense, but I also often write in first person past! I'll dabble in first person present, but it isn't my strong suit by any means. I've also written one book in second person 🤫

If I'm doing more than one POV, I definitely prefer third past.

1. I love writing fantasy! All sorts of fantasy. Contemporary, like the Dreams and Secrets Series, high fantasy like many of my WIPs, paranormal, urban, sci-fi/fantasy mix, you name it!
