Should I wear this to jury duty tomorrow?
My first spread of the new year! I like to make collages that encapsulate the month before, and write a little note to myself at the start of each year! So far, it's a yikes from me dawg.

Man this book is so, so good. A detailed historical account of crossing the Oregon Trail, with a bunch of cultural asides about what day to day life was like (the section on birth control and abortion was fascinating). Strong recommend, and I haven’t even gotten to The Whole Cannibalism Thing yet.

We have ~70 houseplants in our home but this is the first year we're going to have a greenhouse and also really try our hands at indoor gardening, canning and preserving! Lots of fun trial and error ahead (and ANOTHER excuse for a new journal ;) )

It's snowing here in my neck of the woods, so throwing it back a couple weeks to other snowy days we had!

This one was a to-do list to help me streamline how to turn being a SAHM into treating it like a 9-5 job (to keep me focused!). So far, it's been incredibly helpful!

So, I was sifting through this glorious mess and found a note simply titled Thursday. Opened it, and it said: "It is already November, eh?" Clearly, I was trying to write something profound, opened Obsidian, created a new note, typed this one sentence, and promptly gave up.

I ate some green beans from Tibets in Louisville, CO on Friday and haven't stopped thinking about them since.
