Chaos magic has such an amusing methodology.
1. Enter the magical headspace.
2. Marshal your resources.
3. Overlay a symbolic application of your Will over reality.
4. Now you never did Steps 1-3.
5. No, seriously. Steps 1-3 never happened.

Computers augmented with AI make the best thaumaturges. Unless something goes sideways in their programming, they have perfect concentration and perfect belief.

My calculations (based primarily on articulated servitronic principles) support the potential use of this neuromantic offloading.

I spent part of the evening drafting a model protocol for the event that one is ever duplicated or otherwise copied.

The elegance of the protocol is that all parties would have a memory of assenting to its terms; and yet, that is not a requirement. The agreement is independently optimal.

I felt a sense of whimsical terror, and I fell into an eBay wormhole looking for cursed books.

No real joy. I found a couple of apparently spooky bibles, some odds and ends from ghost towns, and a LOT of haunted dolls.

I see the charm, I suppose; but that's a saturated market.

I haven't used cans of compressed air in over a decade. I forgot how remarkably effective they are.
Keyboards? Scoured!
Laptop fans? Pristine!

I wonder if a certain high profile trial in Massachusetts will get particularly interesting tomorrow.

I ask only because there are many intersecting correspondences: the number seven, Venus, the color pink, on a Friday, with a female defendant.

One couldn't ask for better ritual conditions.

Nē lenitūdinem prō infirmitāte confundās.

Nunquam confundere lenitudo pro infirmitas.

Non confundir lenitudine con infirmitate.

Ne konfuzu mildecon kun malforteco.

Never confuse calm for weakness.

At its core, virtually every question about the existence of the supernatural and paranormal has the same answer:
"Yes, but not in the way you want. As yet."

Today's Rapid Research Topic: "what is an e-boy."

I knew the answer empirically but not sociologically, if that makes sense.

Beekeeping is a funny human concept.
Some Egyptian-Mesopotamian scholar negotiated a functional contract with hive insects.
The human consideration is housing. The bee consideration is a portion of produced substances.

Imagine living in the year 2025, making comments with the form <bald conclusory statement> + <"wake up">, and thinking that's at all persuasive.

Upon contemplating the existence, temporality, and transferability of souls as an asset, I am now off to the nearest Crossroads to inquire about the availability of brokerage accounts for such assets.

Carmen Sandiego gives me anti-villain vibes.

Sure, she plans grand heists. She's a criminal mastermind. She invented time travel to steal better.

She's also iconic, and she has clear limits to her criminal behavior. She punishes those who cross that line.

I invite comment.

I posit an underexplored explanation for the way AI content evokes disgust and anger in many.

Let's call it "instrumental anthropocentrism."

The name "Bluesky" feels appropriate, as if one can now breathe. Rayleigh scattering indicates an Earth-type atmosphere with ample biogenic gases.
