People mostly understand *far* better than either the media or politicians give them credit for. Our media is, as usual, letting us down.
Why do people think England flags have been raised on lampposts?

White adults
National pride: 26%
Anti-migrant/minority sentiment: 49%
Both: 19%

Ethnic minority adults
National pride: 15%
Anti-migrant/minority sentiment: 55%
Both: 20%

Labour had a very tiny window to try and convince a worn down, cynical, apathetic public that they were different, that they were incompetent and capable of radical change.

So far they have failed.

It’s not too late but they need to change course and fast.

Boris Johnson took 4 days off as NHS warned Covid could ‘overwhelm’ system

Thousands died.

Spent time walking his dog, riding motorcycle, hosting lunches/dinners.

He once said Covid was ‘nature’s way of dealing with old people’, ‘we should let the old people get it’.

Will he be held to account,?

Dear Mahmood/Labour,

Once the strutting fascist, Yaxley Lennon, is taking credit for your policies, you must know you’ve completely lost your way. You need to get your head out of your arse and your account off X.

SUPERB and angrily unvarnished response, by former BBC chairman, Lord Patten.

Absolutely right. I criticise BBC News, because we need it to be as good as we know it can be. People like Farage criticise the BBC, because they work for its competitors and don't want it to exist.
🎯 Davey is spot on. "We can have criticism of the BBC, but within that, we need to recognise how valuable an institution it is [and how] precious to our country. And that's one of the reasons why people like President Trump and Nigel Farage, want to undermine the BBC." 👏🏽~AA

This year, Labour increased the minimum wage for all workers at well above inflation.

But they increased it even MORE for younger workers.

They aim to get the rates the same for all ages.

But Reform want the opposite - to reduce the minimum wage for younger people.

Support Labour. Oppose Reform.

Congratulations to all the Democratic candidates who won tonight. It’s a reminder that when we come together around strong, forward-looking leaders who care about the issues that matter, we can win. We’ve still got plenty of work to do, but the future looks a little bit brighter.

I am so tired of 24 hour news about small boats. I simply don’t care how many migrants arrive in the UK any more. No matter how many, they’ll never be as big a threat to British values, our way of life, or indeed women‘s safety, as the bigots who make yelling about migrants their entire personality.

I admit.. I’m incandescent over the allegation Farage swerved paying £44K in stamp duty on his £885K #Clacton house by using his girlfriend “buy it” despite her being unable to afford it, being buried by MSM

And them avoiding the story of her potential serious fraud in Brussels

Trump, RFK, and their cronies likely want to create the (false) perception that autism is preventable and curable, because that allows them to: 1) cut accommodations, services, and support for autistic kids and their families, and 2) blame mothers for autism in ways that make (1) seem justified. 1/
I don’t exactly how to phrase this, but like… is autism that bad???? Like, why is it such a source of fear??? Of course there are challenges but you can be autistic and have a rich, fulfilling life! Many people do! I don’t understand the preoccupation.

The only tax councils have any real say over is council tax.

Refore are now saying they will increase council tax in Kent.
