Sweetwater's just had a burn there so in a wide view it looks like a wasteland right now but by spring it should be good and even now with cropping pics don't look too bad. Sometimes there are even Bobcats.

There are lots of birds here so Ebird will be a great help to you and you don't need to go far from at all. We also get Harris's Hawks, Ferruginous, and Merlin's at times. Owls too.

Probably the same bird. Yellow-rumped Warblers look different depending on the lighting , the age of the bird and males and females can look different. They are cute little birds.

Kestrels are pretty common at the parks with recycled water they are small and blend in so they can be missed. There is also a lot of Red-Tailed and Cooper's in the same areas. Ebird is a good place to check and see what and where people are seeing birds you may be interested in.

He was cute. He was fluffed so I think he was annoyed it was cold. Animals and birds are very expressive.
