Hegseth is now without a chief of staff, a deputy chief of staff and a senior advisor, less than 100 days into his tenure. A "senior defense official" suggested he made poor choices for who to trust in his inner circle, with another saying there would likely be more "chaos" to follow soon.

State Sen. Justin Eichorn, R-Grand Rapids, was arrested Monday for allegedly soliciting a minor for prostitution. The Bloomington Police Department said detectives communicated with Eichorn “who thought he was talking to a 16-year-old female” and detectives then arranged a meetup on Monday.
