During the Civil War, it took the Union over 2 years to give up on the idea of and purge the leaders advocating a “soft war” vs. a “hard war”.

Ultimately, corporations aren’t pro or anti free speech, only pro profit. As such they should not be relied upon to protect free speech for the people, but need to be regulated by the people to protect free speech.

Someday, when we have the chance to rebuild this country, we will need to remember there is no such thing as “corporate citizenship,” only corporate interest to maximize investor returns and can’t be trusted to do the right thing for the people but need to be regulated accordingly by the people.

Was at these. Got tickets for the 1st show and halfway through, ran out and bought tickets for the second. The room was like the Copacabana from Goodfellas. Sat at a cocktail table with a candle on it. Probably the room but the music was as delicate as I’ve ever heard. Great Bob memory.
