I like this idea best, it's like, dark trolls are like Eevees: give them a leaf stone and they become Haranir; give them a moon stone and they become Kaldorei lol

I really don't want them to be the ancestor of trolls/elves because I think that has some really foul implications given the Haranir are less "monstery" than trolls. But I could see them being a transitional species or early offshoot, I wouldn't mind that.

For Murenna (aka Mûre) I think she'd wanna befriend her, I'd imagine they could find some common ground as night elf combatants from northern Kalimdor :P Mûre is from Darkshore, so she's very familiar with having to defend her home with force.

there's dos2 but in that game you can play as a literal skeleton, not a zombie type of undead. but it's still pretty neat, any of the races can be a skeleton.
