Just more shit in a long line of shit, just this time with the added threat of violence. Turns out telling men who want to fight you to go fuck themselves doesn’t placate them—who knew.

It’s a good pub run by good people with good security, and they got kicked out, but the guy who wanted to fight me went out inviting me outside, so there’s that, too.

He’s just a fucking good egg: he’s sweet, conscientious, and incredibly fair. Looks damn good in a jumper too.

Tomorrow sees the biggest section of the brewery install begin, so I’m glad we got away before it gets intense. Get in girls, we’re going brewing.

I had a very not restful Christmas after a very hectic and stressful couple of months, so to be able to switch off so completely and actually rest has been an utter delight. I don’t want to go back to work—I’d rather mince around and read queer literature—but I’m in a much better headspace now

I’ve also: been on big beach walks with the dogs every day; done loads of fun photography, including night shoots of Neolithic stone formations and some fun portraiture; bought a very cute and dykey knitted tank top; cooked two meals and eaten two delicious takeaways, and one pasty; and slept well
