The Filoli estate is decorated with 315,000 lights and 28 miles of lighted strands. A beautiful evening, holiday site.

It’s 60 degrees and sunny on Dec. 8 near the SF Bay Area. This, my friends, is why we pay the cost of living in California. And also why our state is crowded along the coast. Doggie approves. 😁

Rounding out this year’s travel was a trip to the Big Apple. Hello Lady Liberty and the 4th best pizza place in the world. (the top 3 are in Sicily)

The Pandas are back at the San Diego Zoo! Worth a trip!

I recently visited the big island of Hawai’i. It’s an amazing ecological treasure of lava fields, caulderas, waterfalls, rain forests, beaches, historical native sites, and even grazing pastures. And don’t forget Mauna Kea with the largest telescopes in the world.

Ridgebacks are the best. My girl is almost 10 years old.
