In KC, we have “Christmas in the Park” with 1000s of groovy lights on display to observe from the car. BUT once a year, on the Sunday before Thanksgiving we get to RIDE our BIKES through it and it’s a tradition I love, love, love!

One thing that makes teaching more sustainable, I think? Becoming more comfortable saying no to those "extra asks" that are inevitable in our current education system.

It's okay to say, "I'm at my limit and cannot take that on" or "I just want to focus on my classroom."
