I went to my first ever protest this weekend! If you did, too, I'm proud of you. If you couldn't, that's ok! It's not the only form of resistance. Listed below are things you can and should be doing as you're able. It feels good to get validation that the things I do matter. #FiftyFiftyOne #HandsOff
Here’s how to stay in the fight:

📱 Use the 5 Calls app or Resist Bot to contact your elected officials daily.

🎤 Demand town halls. Show up at their public appearances.

🚫 Boycott evil corporations.

🗣️ Talk to your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors.

🌳 Build community power.

Sometimes protesting means not buying something, or buying it elsewhere.
What they will not say is it's not just inflation, layoffs and a slowing economy. Consumers have closed their wallets because the Billionaire Broligarchs have openly waged war on us and our government. Your economic protests are WORKING!

People are protesting and resisting.

If you aren’t seeing this on @cnn.com or whatever media platform you watch, that doesn’t mean that it’s not happening, it means you need a new media platform.

Democrats need to figure out a more aggressive tactic, because while they're playing chess by the rules, DOGE and the president are swiping all the pieces off the board and calling it winning before the damage can be mitigated. I don't know what it is they should do, but I hope they figure it out.
Repeat after me:

DOGE has already illegally shut down much of the government.

DOGE has already illegally shut down much of the government.

DOGE has already illegally shut down much of the government.

Keep that in mind as Democrats "debate" a continuing resolution "strategy." #ItsAlreadyShutdown

This is not okay, reach out to your Congresspeople today. Light up their phones and emails, attend their town halls if they're brave enough to still have them. This administration needs to be stopped by the governing branch that was put in place to stop them.
NOAA is an absolute mess, and it’ll be worse tomorrow. Please help us. There have already been over 1,000 terminations. It’s not just layoffs—Elon Musk and his staffers are trying to completely dismantle us. Today, there were tons of firings, and more are coming tomorrow.

WaPo is 147 years old. It's basically an American institution. It's now been destroyed by a billionaire.

The Constitution is 236 years old It's now being trampled on by a billionaire.

The problem with unfettered capitalism is that it becomes authoritarian oligarchy.

Then do something about it and rally your party to hold him and Musk accountable and stop confirming his cabinet! Your party has the majority, you have the power, use it! @lisamurkowski.bsky.social
