It talks about people at the mall display (which was the whole plan before the parade idea). It does fluff up the parade more than it deserves, but only with about as many words as it spends on protests.

This was a coaching point in peewees. We were coached to run to first on walks, and if they were lazy getting the ball back or the catcher was still digging it out of the backstop, we would take 2nd.
