I thought so. My son probably would have been Elliott, except my husband’s cousin had a girl Elliette when I was like 4 months pregnant. Plus my daughter is Stella and Stella and Elliot are kind of hard to say together

My son is Emmett, but these are some of the other names we considered (some briefly, some were contenders up until he was born): Clark, Jude, Beckett, Owen, Elliott, Henry, Nolan, Wilson. I liked Sebastian, Claude and Felix but my husband didn’t.

… “this marker is fine, no trisomy 18, this is fine, there’s an XY, This is fine” and she gets to the end & she’s like “do you want to know the sex?” I was like “you already told me. You said there was an XY” & she was like “oh most people don’t know what that means” 😐 thankfully we wanted to know!

Did they put the sex or just the chromosomes? If it was just the chromosomes, they 100% think people don’t know what that means. When I was pregnant with my son we got that test and I did want to know the sex, luckily. When the person called with the results, she was going down the list like …. 1/2

Also that cabinet one is hilarious. Like… do they think stores sell cabinet liners just for her family?

It’s 80% of stuff like “VERY unpopular opinion - you should put on your pants before you put on shoes. That’s how I grew up and it shouldn’t be done any other way!”

This is what’s bothering me the most. We know he’s horrible; him saying it doesn’t surprise me in the least. But no one standing up to him?? That’s so cowardly

Nobody thinks it’s free. We all would rather have our tax money or even more tax money go to pay for healthcare instead of having to pay twice as much to a for-profit private company. And yes some people call universal health care “Medicare for all” but it’s not Medicare as it is exactly now.

That way you get to have fun but you don’t burn out.

Maybe elf only has extravagant things every once in awhile. My kids loved “small” things (elf in a stocking! Elf by the elf ornament! Elf looking at our fish!) also that leaves things open for improv (once my daughter lost a tooth and I did a thing where elf and the tooth fairy had fun).
