the funniest part of my wrapped is that a combination of being obsessed with The House in the Cerulean Sea/Somewhere Beyond the Sea early in the year and listening to the Sleep No More soundtrack playlist a lot made my listening age EIGHTY TWO

another month where you can tell the state of the world/my mental health by how deeply I'm shoving my head in books

My Highest Rated reads (all had a five star rating)in no particular order were the secret life of albert entwistle by matt cain, hello beautiful by Ann napolitano, and the entanglement of rival wizards by Sara Raasch. My average book length was 290 pages and the average time to finish was 6 days. I read 92% fiction books and 8% nonfiction, with the top five categories being Young Adult, Romance, LGBTQIA+, contemporary and literary. I read 58% audiobooks, 17% print and 25% digital. There's a graph showing how many pages I read each day -- I did read at least a little every day, with one big spike up to 450 pages on September 24. I read 9 books, 2,628 pages and gave an average rating of 4.47 stars because it takes very little to please me, book-wise. My Highest Rated reads (all had a five star rating)in no particular order were A Tale of Two Knights by James Persichetti with L.S. Biehler (Illustrator), Kiss Me First by Lottie Moggach, and my favorite read of the month, The Corruption of Hollis Brown by the amazing K. Ancrum. My average book length was 273 pages and the average time to finish was 6 days. I read 100% fiction books, with the top five categories being Young Adult, LGBTQIA+, Middle Grade and Graphic Novel. I read 44% audiobooks, 33% print and 22% digital. There's a graph showing how many pages I read each day -- I did read at least a little every day, with big spikes up to 300 pages a day on August 1st, 14th, 24th and 28th. Didn't read as much in July, but read three chunky books (The Starless Sea, In the Lives of Puppets, and 11/22/63). The rest were queer graphic novels 💁🏻

Highest rated books were 11/22/63 by Stephen King (5 stars), The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern (5 stars) and Witch Boy by Molly Knox Ostertag (4.5 stars). Average book length was 430 pages and average time to finish was 10 days. 100% of the books were fiction, and they were split 50/50 between digital format and audiobooks. The post common genres for the month were LGBTQIA+ (5), Fantasy (3), Graphic Novel (3), Romance (2), and Science Fiction (2). There's also a line graph showing numbers of pages read by day, with a big spike on the 18th and then some smaller peaks on the 9th, 23rd and 26th, but I did do at least 20 pages every day. The real feel is 92° and I've been laying in my hammock reading for hours and it's soooooo nice that it finally feels summery 🥰🥰

Highest rated books (covers shown in thumbnail) were Sorcery and Small Magics by Maiga Doocy, The Deal of a Lifetime by Fredrik Bachman, and Anxious People by Fredrik Bachman. Average book length was 299 pages and average time to finish was 17 days. I read 100% fiction and 50/50 between audiobooks and print books. There's a graph showing how many pages a day I read that up and down between 20-100 pages a day for most of the month with an exception on the 23 when I read both Bachman novellas and the 29th when I accidentally read almost all of Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe in one day.
