I don’t buy that she really wanted it. She wanted the publicity and grandstanding of being blocked. McDowell of PD fame was never nominating her and she’d consider it beneath her to engage with councils.

If I have to hear one more time that FF/FG made a mistake not lending votes to others I’m going to scream when that option existed to scores of other TDs including entirety of SF.

Ivana is a complete lightweight I’ve no time for her at all. She’s a middling academic that’s doing nothing for Labour except make them followers of others. SocDems went first for CC and they should have left them to it

Consistently make the point that we shouldn’t take politicians seriously on issue of EVAWG while there’s an airport named after him. Esp given it’s in the actual justice ministers constituency.

How is Cooper that powerful? Starmer brought her back, how is not in his gift to send her out again. What power base does she have in the PLP given she has under performed?

Completely, she decided 2 years ago the sacrifices would be worth it. It’s not hard to figure out why that calculation may have changed.
