I was right.
I *would* have liked Zootopia 2 more if it has been Nick and Judy romping around various biomes with a snake while a melodic through-line played.
The animation was great, the character was great except where the plot wrecked it, and the plot was not very good.

I've never liked 'toony' as the term for 'nothing to see here' style null.
To me, it carries the connotation that the person so described is an expurgated approximation of something else, rather than a fully realized type for whom sexuality is irrelevant.
