This is totally wrong thinking. The schools need extra resources to help find the root cause of the kids with poor attendance. Wielding a stick helps neither the school or the pupils.

Yes, in hindsight I probably should have posted that as a response to one of the people inferring she must support the current situation having worked. With Altman having u-turned on things like non-profit, ppl have left before.

Well they're liquidating some assets to invest a further $22.5Bn in OpenAI. So I don't think it's about recognition of an impending AI bubble burst.

True, but several people are suggesting that because she worked there she must support the direction they're taking.

I've only had time for a superficial look and not found much. Is it possible she left OpenAI because she disagreed with the direction they were taking with regards to safety?

I've said before that one of the important things to watch is how little the Dems might roll back if they ever get back in power.

Could this pave the way for emergency surgeries around the clock without the need for surgeons to work night shift? Just anaesthetists, theatre nurses etc (for the time being).
That should lead to better outcomes overall, since shift based fatigue can lead to errors.

From what I saw in the first half he was tidy but cautious, not really offering much going forward. Totally fine in the circumstances. I didn't see the 2nd half.

I think I'd be more upset if he liked them. Imagine finding out his 80s NYC days were fuelled by a love of No Wave. Devastating.
