Raise a glass for Poch!

He’s earned that salary, imo.

This was only a friendly, but the game was without 4-5 of the best USA players.

He’s building something real…

Win and you’re in…

Germany looked like the German teams of the past in an utterly dominating win to qualify for the World Cup.

All smiles here in Belmar.

Well done, lads. :)

Big three points in Paris!

Rather comfortable first half until Diaz got the red card. From there on out it was like flashbacks to Tuchel days - holding on to a CL win.

Always nice staying up for a win on the west coast. That’s three wins in a row for #nyr

Bayern Munich with a comfortable 4-0 win over Werder Bremen.

Harry Kane with a brace and sets the record for fewest games to 100 goals in a top 5 league!

Prost!

If you’re ever wondering why publishers don’t like the way A.I. takes and uses their info, look at this graphic.

The information links to my website, but, of course, doesn’t mention it.

The link is nice, but they should list the source as well imo.

This is the headline that should signal the beginning of the end for him…

Or it’s the beginning of the end for America.

I was too young to ever see Eddie play, but grew up knowing about the legend.

Shame he died just before the start of the team’s 100th anniversary as he is definitely one of the greatest to ever wear the jersey.

It was only a friendly… but it was the best I’ve seen USA play in a long time.

Germany really needed this win…

One game of the season in
-person for me.

Had an hour delay for a thunderstorm, but otherwise a good day.

In a very real way, Davey Johnson played a huge role in my life.

He managed the Lynchburg Mets prior to coming to NY. That team had many of the stars who would win it all in 1986.

The minor league team also put Lynchburg on my radar.

Years later, I went to Lynchburg College where I met my wife.

Germany with a horrible loss.

They lacked cohesion, quality, and heart.

A very depressing performance.

I wasn’t a fan of how RU played the 2nd and third downs, but K-Man came through with a 4th and 7 pass for a clutch first down to seal the win!

Great game by Kaliakmanis.

Rutgers with the win!!

Match Day 1 in the books…
Six goals by guys we took from the Premier League. That’s looking like a pretty good feeder league for us :)

Far too many Bayern Munich “fans” want the impossible.

They want the manager to play the youth.

But they want all-stars at every position AND all-stars as depth for every position.

They want to win every title AND to start teenagers in Cup games.

Congrats Kompany! I’m with you…

Bayern moves on!

Thanks to a brace by Harry Kane!

On to PSG!

Whew… first of two knockout matches for me tonight.

USA with a solid win.

My teams finished with two wins and out scoring the opposition 15-0

Dad would have been happy…
