this is tricolor gum bichromate! it's watercolor pigment mixed with gum Arabic and (for these) ammonium bichromate. you make digital negative of the RGB channels of an image and then, for photorealism, do 3 (or more!) layers of red blue and yellow. You can play around with what colors too!
