… No one seemed more delighted and surprised to be on this flight than Barbara. She literally giggled at everything. Her initial announcement was (and you have to read this in an Aussie Kath and Kym accent)

After joking about flying on a Spitfire and chocks away to my friends online I discovered that my plane actually had propellers and chocks. There were, I think 36 seats and 22 were occupied. The flight lasted 90 mins and flew so low it took in spectacular views of the Great Barrier Reef but…

The check in guy hand wrote our boarding passes and then appeared again in a number of guises. We had a chair massage whilst watching an aquarium of tropical fish. The security people looked like volunteers from the local U3A and everyone and I mean EVERYONE was so happy to be there….

Darrowby 305. My favourite series and books as a teenager and then reader, I married one but he has an extra T. Youngsters don’t know what I mean when I say, “Like the vet” 🙄

I’ve started looking. It’s daunting starting again but too much hate over there. Genuinely sickening. Retirement great. Very hard at first. Boy doing very well. They’ve made him music lead. I go in and hear readers for him once a week. I’m off to Aus for a month next week! How are your lot?
