His tenure is making my belief that any PM should have experience as a back bencher whilst their party is in government.

Grounds them in an understanding of why MPs moan that really doesn't exist in opposition parties to the same degree.

His reported attitude is completely unacceptable, no disagreement there.

Just trying to rationalise his baffling misunderstanding of political mechanisms.

Staff exist to help get things done, no matter how junior. MPs exist to get in the way and cause noisy distractions.

Which is a completely understandable behaviour given his background.

But Zack is a member of the London Assembly, not an MP.

Oversight of the BBC is a function of Parliament, not of the London Assembly, so it would be weird to be writing to him.

Given that the selection of the next Director General is Parliamentary business, it would be weird for someone who isn't an MP to be included.

Who is the Green Party's leader in the HoC?

Who is the Green Party's leader in the HoC?

Oversight of the BBC is Parliamentary business so it is right that only MPs are addressed.

This is up there with the time Head of the IMF, Pascal Lamy, and Andrea Leadsom MP were brought on to be equal voices in a debate over post Brexit trade.

I would have hoped that SEO would have negated the need for "Aa-" titled companies

I am going to be charitable and err on the side of incompetence over malice.

The world; its systems, regulations, and trade, are increasing in complexity far faster than the Civil Service and Law Enforcement can keep up.

Even more impressively, I could identify an aerospace order from 15 years ago and be able to tell you who pressed the button on the tensile testing machine and the exact minute they did so.

They really don't mess around with this sort of stuff.

The common refrain in the industry is that "the most expensive bit of an aerospace order is the piece of paper that comes with it".

It is also massively exclusionary to those with caring responsibilities for one reason or another.

For those wondering, these things don't mix well.
