I should probably spend less time here, and more on YouTube! I've been enjoying some real musical treats there.

This girl is apparently a Leaving Cert student who also plays the harp.

I have a hunch we'll be hearing more of her.

Feel free to point out any errors. It was a bit of a rush job.

Reposts would be amazing.

It’s probably worth stressing that there will be groups who will be highly motivated and organised in responding to this survey, so if you have primary school age children and don’t want your voice drowned out by such groups, well…

I continue to be surprised at how under the radar this is going, considering that it’s more consequential than a lot of the things that #spéirghorm gets worked up about.

There’ll be major handwringing on here if we get a “majority of parents support Church patronage of primary schools” result.
If you're in ireland and have kids in primary school or soon to be, please fill out this survey on preferences re religious involvement in schools, and whether people prefer single-sex or co-ed. It takes < 1 minute and will inform future provision. #speirgorm www.gov.ie/en/departmen...

Contacted a friend to go for a drink the other day, he couldn't as he had an operation for cancer a month ago and is undergoing chemo.
He went to the doctor for something different, and a test showed he had cancer.

We have 101+ years of data on how disastrous british rule has been, economically & societally, in NI. It's been a basket case for decades.

Then, along comes brexit, which accidentally gave us an insight into what an All-Ireland economy might be like.

GRMA (thanks) Brexit! #spéirgorm
The key finding of the research, conducted by Dublin City University and the Ulster University Economic Policy Centre, was a €3b p.a. 'subvention' in year one, reaching breakeven point within 5-9 years.

i.e. Reunification would be positive for the whole Island of Ireland.
