Thank you! I've written to senators over recent years to request this. If a senator feels strongly about a piece of legislation, the people deserve an impassioned speech to try to convince us of their position.

Seems to be working for me. But over on FB I can't initiate comments on posts, I can only reply to other peoples comments. So yeah, social media seems to be glitching in general.

I'm thinking I might have to rebrand. Having "Liberal" in my screen name may disappear me sooner rather than later.

We're F'ing pissed! If you don't get what you were holding out to get, there's no way to spin it that Democrats don't end up owning the pain of this shut down! Vote NO until we get what Democrats said was a deal-breaker. Let the shutdown cause pain! Whoever caves first gets the blame for that pain!

Don't cave! Whoever caves claims ownership of all the pain already endured. It will be perceived that you caused all of this by not giving in sooner. It will be a politcal disaster!

Force the republicans to own the pain that they cause. For just F'ing ONCE, hold them accountable!!!

We need a publicly searchable database of everyone who receives money from ICE (except lawsuit winnings). It needs to be used in every background check in perpetuity & anyone on it becomes a pariah. Anyone who would do this to people.....I just can't. How can people be wired to be so terrible?

I think the left has woken up to the tricks and are preparing to maliciously comply with whatever they try to pass. Women are getting their passports so they have proof of citizenship in their married names, etc.
