Prop 50 is about defending democracy. Republicans already stole seats in Texas without voters having any say. California is doing it differently: we get a one-time shot to fight back, then it reverts to our independent redistricting commission.

Since there have been ICE impersonators, what's to stop local law enforcement from insisting these masked thugs show their face and photo ID or badge number to make sure they're not just a civilian? Make them prove what they are doing is legal. Or arrest them for violating local open carry gun laws.

It's just a parade of horrible people demonstrating their preference. Awfulness over humanity. Hatred over empathy. They don't care about logic or facts; only making those with whom they disagree look bad. It's that simple.
