The linkage between climate change and the blue economy also needs to be explored. Environmental degradation has a direct impact on worker vulnerability; going out further and having to be out longer, leading to the lack of food/water, which then leads to health deterioration of fishery workers.

Due to a disrupted ecosystem that impacts the cycle of water in the Ton Le Sab, fish become smaller, producing a lesser yield. Most of the impact is the result of the ecological impact from the Mekong Dam. But how does this ecological change impact migration?
