🧵 3/5 It was aimed at "Growing Your Own" teachers through all levels. At the high school level, we were engaged in Youth Participatory Action research for high school students in Lincoln, Schuyler, South Sioux City, Wakefield, and Fremont.

2/5 People might think that DOGE is a good thing. "Cleaning up fraud and waste", they might say. "Indoctrination" they will shout. Let me tell you about this grant. It was aimed at preparing and sustaining teachers for Nebraska schools & communities. It addressed the teacher shortage.
