If the "cartel" clubs really wanted to separate themselves from the rest of the English pyramid, maybe all they'd have to do is ban gambling sponsors, which would be much easier than forming a super league.

I don't understand squad size anymore. Newly promoted Sunderland with 37 players is nonsense when we have at least 8 extra fixtures in the Champions League and 10 fewer players in our squad.

Cody Gakpo signs a new contract. It's not the biggest news of the summer, but an excellent show of continuity for the highest performing players. His commitment and everything he brings physically and technically will help us for years to come.
