I’m thinking Joe Gomez returning may be in a new formation. There are rumours around, but Slot did try 3-4-3 in a cup game with the kids. We have 2 great ‘wing-backs’ and it will solidify our defence and allow Wirtz a more central role.

I agree. Not convinced by him at all and not sure if we should cut our losses and look elsewhere. Don’t get me wrong, on his day he can be quality.

The wins against Villa and Madrid showed the fans what the squad is capable of. The game against Man City showed the fans how they still need to improve.
