A Piping Plover chick from last Sunday! I believe this is Ferris, though I’m not positive.
They were all over Montrose Beach looking for breakfast in the sand.

One of the Piping Plover chicks laying flat in the sand. This was when a Peregrine Falcon had landed nearby— all the birds were fluting & piping alerts. I am assuming this was a defensive/hide position from the chick due to the falcon.

Gotta say the Fabulous Fox is an absolutely stunning venue AND they have an original 1920s screening room with a 1920s screen??!!
Beautiful place. I enjoyed being able to see it & can’t wait to come back one day for a show!
