In my defence, I have been left unsupervised

Worst part of painting: waiting for the current layer to dry so the paper will in-bubble itself

A drinking game, printed out and laminated. Still, it is stained with rum and the evidence of a bad time. Some of the guys in my guild started talking about making sure I was well equipped against things that could kill me. I was starting to feel like Ralphie’s little brother.
My little goblin character, dressed up in so many layers, he can’t put his arms down. Like Ralphie’s little brother in that one scene of A Christmas Story.

I was working through my Vintage Story character, Snort, a goblin pub landlord. I based his look on a chimpanzee, which I realised rather quickly made him a Gremlin. I’ll go with it though, because he doesn’t look like a racist caricature.
Seven sketches of the same character, in varying degrees of detail. He’s pulling a variety of faces to get a feel for how it changes shape. There are a few where he looks absolutely stoned. His design does indeed resemble a chimpanzee, but with large, pointed ears and a sort of Mohawk hair style. He has a large-ish scar above his left eye, and multiple earrings. He also wears a small pair of round spectacles.

I drew some frogs

Forgot I ordered this, and then it turned up today. Guess I’d better get a start on it
A book sits over a multi-coloured scrap yarn blanket. On top of the book is a bookmark. The book is bright orange with the makings of a labyrinth on the left side. It’s Tim Key’s Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush. The bookmark has a silver cord with tassels on it. There is a skeleton amongst the ferns and poppies. The skeleton is clutching a heavy book to its chest. Somehow, the skeleton appears to be grinning, beyond the typical fixed grin a skeleton usually wears. Above, in bold print, it says ‘fuck off I’m reading.’

I have been trying a very low rent way of scanning film. $20 light board and black tape, and my all-in-one actually works. It is janky as fuck, and this board is a bit broken, but I reckon a new one with easier controls would do the trick.
