The thing with Pedro Pascal is he not only gives a fuck; he knows he's huge enough to spend all day trashing bigots safely because entire franchises are built around him atm. He's no dispensable Gina Carano-tier secondary guy. This also underlines how most famous artists as big as him are cowards.

They’re gonna get more press than actual women astronauts with PhD‘s, and all kinds of shit who have been blazing trails this whole time and it fucking pisses me off

Awesome Katy now tell Bezos plastic wife he can choose to stop making amazon workers piss in jars in vans and give them living wages at any time that would be a great connection to love

So many misconceptions about FIV+cats.
I thought this article ( a few years old but factual) does a
good job explaining what FIV is and what it isn't.

www.nola.com/entertainmen...
People and dogs can't catch it: Don't let an FIV diagnosis keep you from adoping a cat
Cats infected with the FIV virus often are overlooked for adoption because people think they are ill, sickly or a danger to other pets. Not so.

old Soviet joke for our times:

Guy stops by the newsstand every day, scans the front page, doesn’t buy the paper. One day the vendor asks what he’s up to.

Guy says: “looking for an obituary.”

Vendor says “those are towards the back of the paper, comrade.”

Guy says: “not the one I’m looking for.”

A charming little piece for Sunday: a terracotta figurine of a #cat playing the harp.

From #Egypt, #Roman period, late 1st century AD.

On display at Museum August Kestner, Hannover.

Have a lovely Sunday!

We're working on making replica pages (that do reference the way back machine archives, and the work of folks like ASAN who found the archived pages) so they're maybe a bit easier to access. Hats off to ASAN, coming in clutch as usual.
The removal of the Department of Health and Human Services Reproductive Rights site, and with it the erasure of accurate and timely info on reproductive health care, rights, and resources, is a clear attack on reproductive rights. You can find the archived site here:
ReproductiveRights.gov - Know Your Rights: Reproductive Health Care
While Roe v. Wade was overturned, abortion remains legal in many states, and other reproductive health care services remain protected by law.

Public Health is calling out injustices, so just gonna point out: ICE isn't law enforcement. They're leashed attack dogs, at best. And even then, I wager the dogs are more empathetic and better company.

Anyways, here's a map of current ICE raids.

Living in a 15 minute city is great; I walk a mile in any direction and find myself back at my apartment, with only minor changes. Sure, the noises from the dog park get deeper. After the tenth iteration or so I can't read the signs anymore. But the stranger in my apartment welcomes me every time.
