The new risk at Kamloops city hall did prompt beefed up security measures just in this term. In the wake of the break-in at RHJ's business, Coun. Dale Bass told me she'll be asking staff if they should revisit security plans again. 3/3

Coun. Mike O'Reilly said mayor RHJ has "emboldened" people, but Kamloops is also far from alone. For example, a man was arrested a few years ago for suggesting Kelowna's mayor should be shot and, more recently, Vancouver's mayor got security escorts from VPD. 2/3

Mayor Hamer-Jackson won't say. Last year he said the property was his de facto office when he was forced from the mayor's typical desk and a basement room in Kamloops city hall was specially renovated for him. He rarely steps foot in the basement office. infotel.ca/newsitem/new...

Dr. Airini told me she generated it herself, drawing similarity to a photographer who would put minor edits on headshots.
We're all pretty used to AI images, but it's the first time I've ever seen one in a news release, let alone one without a disclaimer it's artificial. What do you think?
