And let's not forget, the ACA fined people for not having health insurance, until Trump stopped that part. The Obama administration forced you to buy something from a 3rd party, through the force of penalties, that does not directly affect anyone else.

Here is something I find strangely odd. Harbor Freight is having a 50% off sale on American flags, but for some reason, the sale does not appear in Minnesota. Why? I'm guessing there are too many non-patriots in Minnesota to warrant a sale. Must be a bunch of Muslims who despise America there.

That is not at all the reason. Most defensive uses with guns don't even require the gun to be fired. Simply brandishing the gun could be a deterrent. If a criminal comes up on you with an intent to mug you, and you show them that you are armed, they usually walk away. They don't want to end up dead.

There was a reason that act was allowed to sunset. It was because there was not a significant change in overall gun violence.
