Overall this was the best version the adaptation could've been with minor nitpicking spots and my only wish is that for season 2 they get rid of the totally empty backgrounds.

Not going to animated and heavily relying on non CGi effects was so fun - sadly a lot of the time the background felt REALLY empty to the point that I noticed it, and I barely notice backgrounds. Fishmen looked weird not being CGi, but also really fun!

I dont recall how the Straw Hats initially met Hawkeye, however in this show it felt a bit weird that Garps, who just wants to challenge Luffy, sends in someone that can kill him by farting. Kind of a weird choice that doesnt add up.
