I had never even heard of DoubleGood popcorn until this year! 🤣 our 5th grade committee is doing ALL the things. Krispy Kreme last month, bake sales, world’s finest chocolates, some online gift brochure and yes… the popcorn.

Makes me wish we did this

Random language learning thought of the day:

I really like how poetic Japanese went with their days of the week. Unlike Chinese where it’s:l “Weekday 1, weekday 2, etc.” they went with “Moon day, fire day, water day, wood day, gold day, ground day, and Sun day”

Aren’t languages fascinating?

My friend who organized the viewing of Wicked part 2 for all of us on opening weekend also made goodie bags for the kids, because she’s just the best like that.

Was reminded of how much I used to love Far Side comics by Gary Larson. I had one of those, one-a-day tear off calendars.

This one is strangely prescient for modern day.

Who was it that collapsed in the Oval Office and are they really okay?

There are a dozen news outlets breaking that it was Gordon Findlay of Novo Nordisk (who wasn’t even in the room).
