Monday’s work party took down trees in the area in red opposite the Ringers hide. Still more work to do there to improve access for birds.

@ladywalknr.bsky.social Work yesterday on the eroding path between Riverwalk and Bittern hides. The path is now realigned but a little work still to do. Many thanks to the volunteers who sorted some “hefty” problems.

@ladywalknr.bsky.social Work party today taking down and replacing the screening on the access to Bittern Hide. Rewarded with views of Bittern opposite the hide. Other work for repairing sections of footpath and some tree removal to improve access.

Kingsbury Water Park parkrun course check met this little fellow.

More work done this week at #ladywalk by the picnic bench to the left of B Hide. Finished taking all the willows down in the reed bed and reduced the hawthorn further out by half. Thankfully only one of us got wet!! Also levelled the track leading to Riverwalk Hide + litter pick.
