Yes the infinite amount of time you have to spend at work is definitely frustrating. I can only recommend to try and make friends there, be it coworkers or the customers you might see drop by consistently.

I didn't keep track of time for how long I did this, but I'm more or less did it while experiencing the pain. After it went away it was just an afterthought if I did it, it's something easy to do while you're enjoying a video of any sort. Not sure if it'll help you or not but hope it does.

Back in 2022 I was developing what I thought was carpal tunnel. I never went in to get it properly checked for lol US insurance.
Was literally at a computer while at work and home.
So I began to stretch my fingers backwards individually for 10 seconds each twice a day with hours between each time.

It exists outside the US, just am glad I'm not in Japan if they're still a workaholic culture.
