When someone famous enough for a Wikipedia page uses multiple pronoun sets, how do they actually decide which set to use "for consistency?" Is it based on some kind of vibe check or truly random? It always reads to me as being strangely pointed 😂

call this the "what are they looking at?" double feature

at least a little bit revitalized after this

Rude of this to exist when I can't spend any money on movies rn...I only even like about half of them, but still I desire it for my shelf. Can never get enough of these holy terrors and their cute dog

Sometimes there's nothing funnier than watching a movie, then finding out how a location has changed 20 years later

So funny to me that letterboxd tracks stuff like this now, but also, if you know of movies that fit these keywords, PLEASE recommend. I will watch them!

My last 4 watches of June all (mostly accidentally) doing the mostly monochrome poster thing

If you're looking for a movie to grab your soul by the shoulders and shake it, this is a tremendous choice. 10/10 film. Lots of haze, smoke, and softness to the picture so the 4K disc is one that stuns more with vivid color than crispness of resolution. Still almost certainly the best way to watch

Very cool how the whole first hour just lets you get to know the characters really well, and when the suspense thriller part of the movie finally kicks in it feels SO INTENSE. 4K disc encode is a little crunchy sometimes but it looks great overall. When they get to the cover location I said "oh no!"

Three very different (but perhaps equally iconic?) dudes

I haven't seen this movie yet but this poster really makes me want to. Like there are better posters visually, but few succeed as hard for me at their actual marketing job of "make you feel like you need to see the movie"...just cuz I want to know...when I talk about it...WILL I talk about myself??

Until I saw that this came from the official Lionsgate channel, my immediate reaction to this thumbnail was "wow those AI fake trailers have really become more niche, huh?"

I normally do not keep track of this number or arrange the movies I watch to hit a certain number at a certain time, but I really should do something special for 5,000. I've got one idea right now but suggestions are welcome!

I thought, this is a trilogy that it might be fun to watch backwards, all in one day - and I was right

They heard Clint Eastwood might be attending, and decided to play it safe
