The desperate hands of the global south seek to take back an overheated world. Seriously, what's next? The McHamburglar trophy in gourmet cooking? The Pol Pot Human Rights medal? The Jeffrey Epstein childcare grant? The Vladimir Putin democracy fellowship? The Weinstein-Cosby feminism prize?

I’m so thrilled to have this work published in @remediatelitmag.bsky.social !
Closing out [MachineWitness] is an ambitious code-animation by Prof. @leoflores.bsky.social, "Tiny Protests: No Kings." The 3-minute animation cycles through movements of emoji as they assemble, interact, and react to events on-screen. Visit remediatelitmag.xyz/issue4 to view the entire sequence!

I have turned this post on Benjamin Bratton’s essay “The Five Stages of AI Grief” into a thread by citing the symptomatic statements he offers for each stage of #AI grief, plus a quote on what non-grief looks like.

This article helps us better understand responses to AI including the moral panic.

“The Five Stages Of AI Grief” offers a useful framework to understand the range of responses people have to #AI.

I suspect some folks will go through the 5 stages when they read it.

Grief-laden vitriol directed at AI fails to help us understand paths to better futures that are neither utopian nor dystopian, but open to radically weird possibilities.

Fun piece, with sorry-not-sorry apologies to those who make life decisions based on horoscopes, Tarot or other kinds of readings, and conversations with AI.

Can confirm that Gemini 3 Pro can transcribe Césaire's handwriting like a specialist. I just fed it one of Césaire's most trash handwriting, and the only thing it missed was the name "Suzy." Damn. Even AI is all in to make Suzanne invisible. Lol. Cold.

Check out this amazing work and participate in the generative protest🛡️
Today my creative work "Tiny Protests: No Kings" was published in Re-mediate. This work generates a protest march (with real slogans from the #NoKings protests), a police response, and a series of escalating White House responses to peaceful protest. #elit #DH

I wanted to see if anyone may be interested in putting together a panel or roundtable proposal for this conference in Loughborough, UK, 1-4 July, 2026.

My creative work “It’s Complicated” was published in the Antología Lit(e)Lat, vol 2.

This work presents many hypothetical Puerto Ricans, who talk about their provenance and offer an opinion on Puerto Rico’s relationshipto the US.
