BTW, our commentary, entitled "Anil Seth’s case for biological naturalism provides a roadmap for a conscious AI", is clearly on the computational functional side. In our commentary, we make a case for our premise, and also address misconceptions about computation.

Thanks for posting! I would have loved to participate, but unfortunately marked the wrong date on my calendar! I imagine @anilseth.bsky.social 's 50 responses fit into a smaller # of categories, so that might be something for him to note & also help with his responding. Looking forward to seeing it.

Thanks! Also has to do with the size of the gist (ie amount of info) you can keep in STM at any moment in time.. Is there something like that going on in wave information?
