I love Halloween

Today I learned wasps make the most horrific buzzing noise when building a nest… On one hand I knew it was there right away, on the other it is making my first day off for vacation a little more stressful.

I need to learn how to pose but I love the outfit I put together for the Lucy Dacus concert this weekend. Side note, I think I need to pierce my nose for real.

I made my first steak dinner! I think it turned out pretty good!

In Memoriam by Alice Winn; This book was devastating and beautiful, and the longer I ruminate on it the more I appreciate it. It left me with a sense of emptiness at the end that is so powerful for a book surrounding WWI. It was expertly written, and I could probably write an essay on it.

Sometimes you pick up a book, read it cover to cover, and leave it feeling like, somehow, it was written for you specifically to read. It hits every box you look for in literature. Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, is that book for me. I could not put this down.

Started the year with Wuthering Heights for a classics bookclub, and it was a challenging start to the year. It’s a great, interesting story! The characters are deeply unlikable, in a very purposeful way lol.

I attended my first silent disco tonight!! It was musicals themed in a theatre!!

There is something special about picking up an old hobby, I haven’t drawn in any serious way in like 5 years. Anyway I started a new ttrpg and here is my silly little mage.
